BAM BAM BASEBALL

We signed up our 4 year old grandson for T-ball. It is suppose to teach them the basics of playing baseball.
Our grandson was fielding all the balls hit the first couple of practices. This age they can be a little shy. He loves being the best or fastest.
This week the other kids started to join in a little more. 4 year olds are so much fun to watch. He says he loves baseball. It is a 30 minute session and now I know why. They have a short attention span.

FOOD NETWORK STAR

The show will be airing soon and this is my vote

DRYING FRUIT

Master H started helping me when he was around 2 and now his sister is learning.
We use canned pineapple slices for this because it is easy and fast.
This is fruit leather. Just mix up your favorite fruit purée and pour it on.Applesauce is the easiest for toddlers.. No waiting.

BABY DUCKLINGS

There is a park close by to where I live. It has baseball fields a splash pad and swings and slides for the kids. We were enjoying the slides when I saw this family of ducklings and their mother.

Look closely the mother is taking them to a pond nearby. This is a large park.

Can you see them all safely in the water?
There is a McDonalds across the street which is a nice place for the kids to have lunch

HAPPENINGS

My sister in law had a house built near us. It was winter so the sidewalk and driveway were not poured. The weather finally warmed up and the cement was poured. The GRANDKIDS and I walked over to see how it was going.
Miss H didn't realize the cement was wet and put her foot in it. Thankfully the workers were pouring the driveway and were able to fix it.
We put our tools up on the wall. I used an "old school" technique my dad taught me. This was after looking at many home improvement stores and not finding what I wanted. It has been very difficult doing yard work this year. Many memories of my dad keep coming to mind and I seem to be shedding many tears at odd moments. Such is the journey of grief I suppose.
Even when I am baking I am always thinking of my dad. Father's Day will be difficult this year but these cinnamon rolls were great. I tried a cream cheese icing for the first time. I think my dad would be proud. He liked getting those huge rolls from Costco. More memories.
