WE really enjoyed taking the train with the sleeping car. There is so much to see and with no one driving we both could enjoy it. You also meet some interesting people along the way. Every meal in the dinning car we met someone new and heard about some of their lives. I will defintely take this trip again.

MORE LUCHES WITH MY SISTERS
We went to a Garden Shop where they were decorating for Christmas and they had a little lunch spot. This is a great place to visit around the Holidays. I spent 24 dollars on what I thought were little Santa cups for hot cocoa with my grandkids. I was so careful to pack them in my suitcase and when I got them home I found out they were salt and pepper shakers a BIG dissapointment but the kids will enjoy them next year at their table or maybe fill them with something else. I miss my sisters.

CRAFTTIME AT THANKSGIVING
I have found if there are a lot of little kids running around at your holiday it is nice to take a little time out and provide them with a craft or activity of somekind. Children seem to enjoy some organized playtime and it gives you a chance to see what kind of a mess they have created in the rest of your house.
We really had a good time making these. Some of the kids were concerned when they didn't turn out like the picture but I assured them it was ok. I explained all turkeys are different and however they turned out was just right. The best part of course was eating them later in the evening:)
